Tomorrow Retail

Daryl Porter is an omnichannel pioneer who built his career leading operations for Walmart and then founded and scaled Walmart’s omnichannel and digital capabilities in Canada.

Daryl spent 20 years leading stores and regions for Walmart before working to build its Central Operations function in 2015. He then identified the opportunity for Walmart to lead in omnichannel in Canada, launching and scaling its online grocery business from a single store to a leading nationwide omni-grocery offering. In the process, Daryl pioneered Walmart’s use of urban click-and-collect locations, launched a micro-fulfillment facility in Western Canada, and formed a ground-breaking alliance with Uber to enable its entry into the Canadian retail market. Daryl also led the Digital Experience teams, Data and Business Intelligence teams, and site merchandising and operations functions.

In 2020, Daryl joined Anheuser-Busch InBev as Global Head of Stores, overseeing ABI’s strategy to digitize its 15,000 stores worldwide.

Today, Daryl is a Senior Partner at Tomorrow, guiding digital retail strategy and implementation for many of the world’s leading omni-retailers. Daryl’s expertise in guiding omnichannel teams to over-deliver has enabled him to become a trusted advisor to retailers worldwide.
